Human beings can be barbaric! I came across this video posted on my Facebook Funwall, and filed it under WTF? in my mind because there is no other way to describe the disgusting behavior I witnessed while watching this
Everyday I hold a little bit of guilt for my race. I mean, I look around and cannot believe we as HUMAN BEINGS can be so malicious, hurtful, murdering each other, murdering children, rape, violence, robbery and so forth. But it even makes me more sick to realize we would take the life of one of God's creatures. A defenseless animal who cannot fight back. I ask myself what can I do?
I can get the message out, by posting this and ask you to do the same. Tell your friends and family. Being blind to the world's atrocities doesn't mean you aren't guilty. Just because the knife isn't in your hand doesn't mean you aren't guilty. Every time we ignore issues like these we are sending the message that we condone it.
So let's work together instead, those of us who believe this is wrong. Maybe it will make a difference. Maybe not. One thing I do know is I cannot sleep at night not telling at least one person about this that I BELIEVE it's wrong.
Knowing my own government helps to promote this makes me ill beyond words. I am a proud Canadian, but watching this, knowing Canadian sealers are doing such atrocious acts within my country. It's disgusting. Our laws state that seals be killed humanly, but as this video shows there is nothing humane about what is happening in our world. This video is only 2 years old and nothing has changed.
