JP ShawNaNoWriMo: Dear {insert character name}
I've been browsing through the forums at NaNo and having fun reading excerpts, getting ideas and advice from everyone. I came across one that's called Dear (insert character name) where you write to your character about what is going on. I found it very helpful in pushing me forward to aid me in reconnecting with my characters emotionally.
Dear Samantha (Buttercup): I would really appreciate it if you'd stop being so stubborn and just allow your heart to find it's way to Nick, and to realize he's not such a bad guy. I'm sorry I keep sticking you in the barn with the manure. I promise things will get better and the weaselly little bank manager will not get a hold of your property. Keep the faith, and you will see everything will be good again. I am sorry about the auction and apologize in advance, but it was for your own good.

Dear Nick: Please don't give up on Sam or love for that matter. You've been running a long time. She's been a ghost haunting you for the past seven years. It's time to face your demons, and give her what you know she deserves. I apologize for her sassy tongue and stubborn behavior. She's a strong women that for which I cannot apologize, but she does need you, more than she realizes. So be patient with her. Be kind. I'm also sorry you keep ending up with hay in your hair, though I know you don't mind heh heh (you devil). By the way smooth move at the auction showing up and outbidding Tyler for the prize.
