Monday In-box: CANCER CANDLE share this prayer
Today inside my in-box
I saw a candle burning bright
I was asked to share it with the world
For someone lost from my sight
For someone who lost their hair
Went through Chemo, pushing pain aside
As Cancer struck their body
They still held their head up high
The candle represents the way
I choose to still remember
Their loving smile, laughter of heart
Their personality sweet and tender
A man of love and honor
Courage under fire
A father and a husband
A friend down to the wire
So on this special Monday
I post this candle to all of you
To share with your friends and family
For someone with Cancer you knew
Pass on this Cancer Candle
And pass it on with the shot of a flare
Hold fast to the memories of those you loved now gone
And with hope send and share this prayer
