Friday love list: reasons I find my children so-oo-oo-oo adorable.
I love my kids. Everything they do is amazing /annoying / cute / frustrating / emotional / heartbreaking / hurtful / caring all at the same time.
In other words my kids do nothing but create giant contradictions in everything they do (good and bad.) But it's still fun being the mommy...
REASONS I FIND MY KIDS SOOOOOOOO ADORABLE!
Watching the baby stick cheerios up his nose is entertaining.
Listening to Jake tell a story that should take five minute but takes an hour, making me miss my entire tv show. (note: have to find copy of last weeks episode of CSI)
Listening to them giggle about absolutely nothing.
Hearing the words "I love you mommy." (Don't get me started on this one.)
Listening to the baby copy everything he hears in a language only I understand. I la la (I love you) / I don't want (I want this now) / gig tug (big hug) / bye bye nigh night (time for bed) geecup (jacob his brother) oockay (cookie) See what I mean. How cute is that?
Watching Jake act like he has no idea he just asked his dad if he could do something I already told him ten minutes prior he couldn't. Then watching him try to squirm his way out of trouble after getting caught. (What goes around comes around. I use to do the same thing.)
Watching Jake try to flush the cat down the toilet (kitty go pee pee) poor Thomas.
Watching them sleep at night all peaceful / snug in bed / dreaming / until morning. There's nothing better than that!
