is allowing kids to see these types of videos right or wrong?

So many videos are online nowadays with Youtube, Yahoo and other sites showcasing the bits of information for all to see. It raises some strong questions as to how much content you should allow your kids to watch.

Like with television some of what kids see should be monitored. There are tons of this anti drug related videos showing the after effects of what harm the drugs do.

A friend of mine said to me, how can you let your 8 old watch these things? Aren't you scared he will get ideas in his head? Aren't you afraid he will see these videos and ask you questions? Or worse want to go out and try these drugs for himself?

Watch the video below. I let my 8 year old watch it. And yes he had question. I answered them. The truth is as a parent I can only love, guide and try to initiate the discipline and self worth it takes to make the right decisions, and not the wrong wrongs.

And if you really want to know the truth. No matter what my parents told me, if I wanted to try something or do something, I did. But I also wasn't educated out of fear of putting ideas in my head.

Being educated is better than being ignorant, at least I think so.

You be the judge.

And let me know what you think.
