funny, charming, sweet and neat, a singer, a mother, don't touch my feet, love me, hate me, I don't care, just don't ask me not to swear, words are innocently woven by my fingers, twisted and turned, in cyberspace they linger, romance, love, passion and sex, drive me to write about that cowboy named tex, writing is something I love to do, comment and I'll ask about you, and if you must know I do like green eggs and ham, how can you not love Sam am I? I'm an aspiring romance author whose very classy. Hello everyone my name is Sassy.

How can you say no to picking up a sexy cowboy?

There are two things in this world that really make my day. Okay well more than two, because of course I'm a mother and wife and those two things I adore. But other than that there are just two. A good cup of coffee and a good book to read. And today I was lucky enough to get both.

Now a good cup of coffee consists of not coffee (for me) but half coffee and half hot chocolate with a dab of irish cream milk, for added sweetness. My thighs don't need the extra calories (but shhhhh) I won't tell if you don't. I cannot start a day of writing without having a scrumptious cup of this delicious combo. What makes it even better--a good book to read.

A good book for me has elements to which keep me engrossed for hours on end, flipping through the pages, and whether it's a romance, horror, mystery/suspense or crime drama, it has to have three key elements in order to keep my interest perked up.

It has to make laugh
. Not all the way through mind you, but at some point, somewhere in the story, a good chuckled always keeps me reading.

Characters I love. Good or bad doesn't matter, as there are bad characters I love. I just have to love them, understand them, and feel drawn to them.

And finally a good--FAST PACED--author.

Now it's not like I won't read a novel written in depth about a story that just pulls at you. J.K. Rowlings (Harry Potter) I love. Anne Rice (Interview with a Vampire) a total joy!

But when I am dealing with the kids, reading a romance novel. I don't have time to stop and smell the roses. I want to dive into the characters, see where the relationship is going, enjoy myself and above all --HAVE A GOOD TIME.

And that's exactly what Samantha Hunter did for me with "PICK ME UP"

Lauren Baker (HEROINE) is a no nonsense gal who has never really done anything out of the ordinary OR unexpected. All that changes when she runs into Brett Wallace, stranded on the side of the road, and decides now is the time to change a few things in her life. What better way to start then to pick up a totally SEXY hot male and give him the ride of his life.

Brett's been (jilted) so to speak. Coming from his own wedding, speeding fast on his bike, all he wanted was to get as far away from the church, his bride and best man, and go somewhere where he could forget what happened. Gorgeous and sexy Lauren was just the sort of distraction to help him do that.

One night with Lauren wasn't going to be enough though. He invites her back to his ranch (AS A GUEST) of course to continue their time together. Then Lauren and he could part ways. At least that is what each of them hopes for. Funny thing about the heart, you really don't have any say in which direction, or road it will take you. Once you are traveling all you can do is enjoy ride.

THE PICK ME UP is a sizzling, hot BLAZE read that I really enjoyed. I instantly enjoyed settling down with Brett and Lauren, watching and being there as their relationship with each other unfolded. A vivid setting and wicked humor makes this book a must for any romance reader interested in not just matters of the heart, but having fun while falling in love.

CHEERS!
