funny, charming, sweet and neat, a singer, a mother, don't touch my feet, love me, hate me, I don't care, just don't ask me not to swear, words are innocently woven by my fingers, twisted and turned, in cyberspace they linger, romance, love, passion and sex, drive me to write about that cowboy named tex, writing is something I love to do, comment and I'll ask about you, and if you must know I do like green eggs and ham, how can you not love Sam am I? I'm an aspiring romance author whose very classy. Hello everyone my name is Sassy.

16 year old David Archuleta proves he's a star

My first passion is of course writing. I have ever since I was a little girl loved weaving words, creating characters and telling a story.

My second passion however unknown to most of my friends is music. I have a love for music and it is as much second nature to me as writing is.

I sang in my high school vocal jazz club, which sent us to Europe. I then graduated and entered several singing competitions, one where I came in second. I made several demo tapes, sang at the PNE and I was offered a record contract to which I turned down, due mainly to the fact I was not ready to go that direction in my life, and my love for writing was something I just couldn't give up.

Growing up I used to watch Star Search, and loved watching all the kids my age performing, winning that big prize at the end. There is something magical about watching someone with talent soar through and find themselves, deliver outstanding performances that would give you the chills just listening.

Well now I'm almost 35 years old, and another of my favorite things to do is watch both Canadian Idol and American Idol. This is season 7 for American Idol, and last year I have to admit I was a bit disappointed, as I was with Canadian Idol that the winners were not justified in winning, and I was torn over whether or not I would watch this year.

Boy am I glad I chose to watch.

This year for American Idol I have no doubt that the winner should be a young man, 16 I think just turned 17 David Archuleta from Utah.

Now David performed on Star Search years ago, back when he was only 10 I believe. He also won that competition. This kid has an amazing knack to not only make my emotions swoon, but he takes my shivers to a point of no return.

Here is David singing with his piano at home.

An outstanding young man, David is now in contention of winning this years American Idol and having all his dreams come true.

I thought during Hollywood week when this teenager came on and sung Bryan Adams Heaven, one of my favorite Canadian musicians. I had seen the best of him. Then in round one of guys week when David hit the stage with "Shop Around" performed with such maturity, I thought wow this kid is awesome! But nothing. I mean nothing prepared me for tonights performance from this young man with such a beautiful voice he brought me to actual tears--singing IMAGINE by JOHN LENNON. A truly tough song to sing, and one even harder to get past Simon who is a real Lennon fan and hates it when contestants try to portray such great artists-always falling short.

Well David didn't fall short. In fact this kid rose another notch on the singing scale, brought the audience to their feet with emotions.

You know watching this show along with CSI and Extreme Home Makerover are the only times I allow myself to endulge in television. Most of my time is spent on the computer, blogging, editing my novels, emailing, or working on new projects. Watching this young man perform is a real treat. Listening to him sing a real pleasure, and David you make my break in word weaving worth it.

For the rest of you out there who don't know who this young man is. Stop and take a moment to listen. Some of us paint. Some of us draw. Some of us write. Some of us act. And then some of us sing. When you are good at something and you love it; it comes across with such power, love and emotion that whether you like the art or not you cannot help but take a moment to appreciate the artist.

I'd say good luck David on winning American Idol. But I'm not going to. You don't need luck. When you are good at something, like I mentioned above, and you love it enough. Your talent will lead you where you are suppose to go. And I will be waiting, a fan in line, waiting to watch you soar free, share with the world the beautiful gift God gave you.
